HM's winter hideouts busted in Mahore, Rajouri | | | Early Times report KATRA/RAJOURI, Dec 5: A large quantity of explosives and items of daily use were today recovered by security forces from two winter hideouts of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit in Mahore and Rajouri areas. Police sources said cops came across a HM hideout during searches in Purja Top forests of Mahore. Its search led them to the recovery of one country made gun, two grenades, one grenade fuse, two IED fuses, 47 AK rounds, three pistol rounds, one IED remote, one stove, 39 pencil cells, one blanket, one suitcase, three steel plates, three glasses and other items. The hideout was later destroyed by the cops. Launched at about 8 am, the search operation was called off at about 2 pm, the sources added. Another militant hideout was busted by a joint column of police and 38 RR in Bharot Ki Gali forests of Peetha near Manjakote in Rajouri at about 9.45 am. From there, the jawans recovered three rocket launchers, five detonators and four steel rods. Before calling off the search operation, the jawans busted the hideout.
