| BJP pays tribute to Ambedkar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 6: Bharatiya Janta Party’s Anusuchit Jaati Morcha organised a programme to observe the 54th death anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar at party headquarters here today.
A simple but spirited homage was paid to Bab Saheb Ambedkar under the leadership of Anusuchit Jaati Morcha State President Chaman Lal Kanathia.
The portrait of Dr Ambedkar was garlanded and rich tributes were paid to this great dalit leader.
Recalling his sterling and historically land mark contribution in laying down democratic, secular and socialist constitutional framework of the country, the participants expressed their gratitude and respect for Dr Ambedkar.
The participants, on the occasion, pledged to take forward the principles and ideology of Dr Ambedkar and work whole-heartedly for adopting the same in their lives to become respectable citizens.
