Panthers demands blacktopping of Hasti Sarthal shrine road | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Dec 6: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has demanded Hindu and Muslim Shrines in Kishtwar should be brought on tourism map to boost pilgrimage in the area. Party has shown concern over the condition of Hasti Sarthal Shrine Road and non availability of ration to the Kuntwara people from last four months. In a meeting of JKNPP District unit held under the presidentship of Provincial Secretary Anil Parihar, the party activists demanded immediate black topping of Sarthal road and supply of ration to people living in various helmets of Kuntwara belt who are not getting it from past four months. He said that people living below poverty line are not getting ration from past few months despite chilly winter, he demanded immediate supply of ration to them. Party District General Secy Om Parkesh Sen showing concern over the condition of Hasti–Sarthal Shrine road said that dilapidated condition of road has exposed tall claims of state government and district administration on the name of so called development. He added that the road has never been black topped after its construction years ago. Party also demanded speed up of work on Padder –Machail road so that Machail shrine could be linked as early as possible for the convince of pilgrims. Party also demanded bringing up of local Hindu and Muslim Shrine “Ziarats “on Tourist map so that more Pilgrimage tourist could be attracted toward district
