| Kargil students meet Akhoon, resent delay | | Scholarship distribution | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 6: A delegation of schedule Tribe (ST) students from Kargil/Ladakh called upon Minister for Transport Qmar Ali Akhoon and apprised him about delay in scholarships to be distributed to them.
The delegation was led by National Conference Students Union (NCSU) president Rahul Sharma. Students also apprised the minister that the scholarships of the students for the session 2009-10 are yet to be paid to them. Minister assured the students delegation that he will take up the matter with concerned department so that their grievances are redressed soon.
Yasser Khan was also present on the occasion. Others who were present included Sajjad, Zaman, JIgmet Amjad Hussain, Sajjad and Imtiyaz Hussain. |
