Omar’s accession speech attempt to unsettle it : Nadda | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 6: Reacting to the recent statement made by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on J&K accession and its reactions and counter reactions here in the state, BJP National General Secretary and cabinet Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jagat Parkash Nadda said, “Attempts have been made to unsettle the settled issued of Jammu and Kashmir”. Talking to media persons here in Jammu, Nadha who visited Jammu to mobile the state unit for the upcoming National Executive meet on December 23 followed by Maharally on December 24 in Jammu said, “BJP will in no case tolerate the Chief Minister accession remarks and will opposed it tooth and nail not only in Jammu and Kashmir but in entire nation”. “We are raising this issue vigorous and it will importantly discussed in upcoming national executive so that a comprehensive strategy to be framed in opposition of Omar’s accession remarks and fresh move to rehabilitate militants”, Nadha added. He further said, “Statement and voices which have been raised recently in Jammu and Kashmir should be curbed at very initial stage before it goes out of proportion”. When asked about the statement of State Cabinet Minister calling for separate statehood for Jammu, Nadha said, “I am not commenting on what State Cabinet Minister had said, I believed that Congress comprised on national issues for its petty politics interest”. ‘As far as BJP is concern, it is the only political party which is consistent on Jammu and Kashmir and always worked to strengthen J&K with India’, he mentioned, adding, “J&K is an integral part of India”. Informing about the coming National Executive meet on December 23 followed by Maharally on December 24 in Jammu, BJP national general secretary said, “About 70 top BJP leaders including L K Advani, leader of opposition Sushma Swaraj, BJP National president and BJP ruling states CM etc will coming here in Jammu for National Executive and Maha rally”. He added that about 50000 expected to participate in Maha Rally and in which state leadership has direction from Central leadership to mobilize the party cadre for Maharally. “In this national executive, various national issues particularly Omar’s remarks on accession and rehabilitation policy to be discussed at length and future strategy to be framed forthwith”, Nadha added. BJP legislators party Prof Chaman Lal Gupta reacted to health minister Sham Lal Sharma’s statement and said, “Minister has finally felt what BJP has been projecting since long and endorsed voice of discrimination with Jammu”. He however rebuffed health minister’s statement on Kashmir and said, ‘BJP believes in total integration of J&K’. BJP state president Shamsher Singh Manhas, BJP MLA Ashok Khajuria, former BJP president Dr Nirmal Singh were also present in the press conference.
