| Admissions continues in JU without calendar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 6: Jammu Youth Morcha (JYM) has criticized the authorities of Jammu University for violating the university calendar and permitting a private college to run Post Graduate courses.
President JYM Sandeep singh Chib said all the colleges under JU have to follow the varsity rules but one of the colleges affiliated with the University is carrying out PG courses and doing admissions for MA English.
He further added that no notice has been issued for the on going admissions just to benefit the college authorities for filling up of vacant seats.
He said that Vice Chancellor's silence over the matter shows that he too is involved into the matter.
He appealed Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor to hold an inquiry into the matter and also asked a justification from JU Vice Chancellor about the silence over the matter.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Pawan Sharma, Sachin and Kapil Sharma besides others.
