| Leharwal visits Kathua sports stadium | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 6: Director General Sports and Youth Services Shamim Ahmed Leharwal today paid surprise visit to Kathua sports stadium and reviewed the present position of the stadium.
Leharwala was accompanied by MLA Kathua Charanjeet Singh. After taking a look at the stadium, DG announced that sports activities would be held as a matter of routine. MLA Kathua raised the issue of delay in speeding up the developmental work of the stadium.
DGSYS Shamim Ahmed Leharwala said that at present, department has shortage of coaches in various fields but promised them that in order to meet requirement of Kathua stadium, they would depute coaches to facilitate sports personalities to rejuvenate sports culture in Kathua.
