| Second consecutive hockey title for PG Arts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 7:The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of Art, University of Jammu (JU), lifted the inter-college men’s hockey title for the second consecutive time beating Trikuta Degree College 2-1 in the final played at KK Hakhu Stadium, here today.
Harvinderpal scored both the goals for winners PG Arts striking in the second and 26th minute of the match. From Trikuta College, skipper, Parvinder Singh reduced the margin converting a penalty corner in the 10th minute.
A healthy crowd, supporting teams from both the sides, was there to witness the final at K K Hakhu Stadium.
The final was officiated by Jasbir Singh, Jagjeet Singh, Amandeep Singh and PD Singh.
In the final, Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau was special invitee, who presented winners’ trophy to PG Arts.
