POONCH, Dec 7: Salil Raina and Mohit among five advanced into the next round of men’s singles in the ongoing District Poonch Table Tennis Championship here today.
While Salil defeated Saleem Bandey 2-1 (9-11, 11-9, 11-9), Mohit registered a straight sets (11-8, 11-9) win over Vivek Matto.
In other men’s singles played today, Marshal beat Gagan 9-11, 11-8 11-6, Shivam downed Deepu 11-9, 11-9 and Muneeb trounced Sawanpreet 12-10, 11-6.
This district championship is being organised by Poonch District Table Tennis Association.
