| JMC clears 40 building permission cases | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 7: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) cleared 40 building permission cases in a meeting held here today.
The meeting of building operation controlling authority (BOCA) was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu S.C Sawhney. Other members of Building Operation Controlling Authority besides Joint Commissioner (Adm), Joint Commissioner (Works) and senior town planner of Jammu Municipal Corporation attended the meeting.
According to handout issued here today, the building permissions cases cleared are expected to generate revenue of Rs. 23 lakh for Jammu Municipal Corporation. Besides this, the enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation led by Chief Enforcement Officer Satish Khajuria while further continuing the drive removed the hoardings / sign boards / banners etc from the public places / poles from Gandhi Nagar area which were installed / displayed by various agencies / firms without permission.
