| Inter district athletic championship begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 7 : The two day long inter district athletic championship for boys began at Bakhshi Stadium Srinagar today.
Athletes from different districts of Kashmir valley are participating in the championship. On the first day of the championship100, 200, 400, 800 meter run, high jump, long jump and triple jump events were held in all the three age groups ( under 14, 17 and 19 years). The championship has been organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports. Meanwhile, inter district athletic championship for girls will commence from December 9.
