| New Turn in Amandeep Murder case | | SP Kot-Bhalwal Jail seeks transfer of accused | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec: 07 (JNF):- In a significant development, the superintendent of Central Jail, Kotbalwal today sought transfer of all the nine accused in the much publicized Amandeep murder case.
In a petition filed before the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, the superintendent sought shifting of the accused. The court may consider shifting of the accused in the interest of administration”, he prayed.
The court has sought objections from the special prosecutor. No reason has been given in the petition seeking shifting of the accused.
The accused include Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, SSP Manohar Singh, former SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, Battastic Expert FSL Sarwar Hussain Bhukhari, Constable Raj, Choudhary Nagar Singh and Choudhary Rakesh Singh. The are facing charges under u/s 302/34/201/120-B RPC 3/25/27 Arms Act in FIR No 247/2009 of P/S Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
