| Corruption charges against Head Drafts Man JDA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, December: 07 (JNF):- Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu DC Sagotra framed corruption charges against Madan Lal then Head-Draftsman JDA Div-1 Jammu who was caught red-handed by the VOJ on August 25, 2009, while demanding and accepting Rs 500 as bribe money from complainant and framed charges u/s 5(2) r/w section 161 RPC.
According to VOJ case that one Romesh Kumar Sharma lodged a written complaint in which he submitted that head draftsman JDA Division-1 Jammu is demanding Rs.500/- for processing the pay dues of 10 security guards of Punjab Security hired by Jammu Development Authority for the security purposes. Accordingly a trap team was constituted and laid a trap and caught head draftsman red-handed while accepting Rs 500/-. VOJ recovered the bribe money and arrested and accused who was granted bail by the special Judge Anticorruption Jammu on August 28, 2009 and after completion of investigation on May 24, 2010 VOJ presented challan in the Court of law.
