| JSM welcomes health ministers' statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec. 7: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) here today welcomed the statement of Sham Lal Sharma Minister for Health and Horticulture for
making Jammu a separate state and according union territory status to ladakh.
Addressiong a press conference JSM State president said that every time nationalists people of Jammu are being crushed and their aspirations were ignored. The discrimination has continued, regional imbalances were at galore and Kashmir was being pumped with funding at the cost of Jammu people. He further said that Jammu should be separated from Kashmir and Ladakh be granted UT.
JSM also congratulated Swami Raj Sharma and Sonam Dawa members representing Jammu and Ladakh regions in the state finance commission for highlighting the glaring discriminating against their respective regions and sending their findings and dissenting note to the Chief Minister and all the Cabinet ministers.
Gupta said that the statement of Sham lal Sharma and recommendations of Swami Raj Sharma and Sonam Dawa start a new chapter in the struggle of Jammu people of region in their fight against Kashmir dominations and injustice that is continuously inflicted upon them by the government of India and the Kashmir rulers.
Other who were present in the press conference were H B Khajuria senior vice president, Capt. Anil Gour Vice President, General Secretary Chandra Uday Sharma besides others.
