Chib stresses coordination to remove bottlenecks 80% works of Super Specialty Hospital completed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 7: As a sequel to his inspection to prestigious Super Specialty Hospital, Minister for Medical Education, R S Chib today took appraisal of the bottlenecks hampering timely completion of tertiary medicare hospital. The Minister pulled up officers for delay in meeting the time line set for the completion of the prestigious project. He asked the concerned agencies to coordinate effectively for sorting out minor issues and removal of bottlenecks that cause delay unnecessarily. Impressing upon the concerned agency to speed up the execution, he said trivial problems should not be allowed to impede progress of the upcoming prestigious project. He said completion of such mega projects should be taken as a mission especially when they are related with sectors like health, drinking water or power. Earlier, the meeting was informed that 80 per cent work has been completed so far and remaining portion will be completed expeditiously. It was given out that Rs 120 crore project has been revised at a cost of Rs 138 crore. Among others, Principal /Secretary Medical Education, R K Jerth, Director Floriculture and Garden K K Sharma, Chief Engineers, Mechanical and M&RE wing, officiating Principal GMC, besides senior engineers of UEED and PWD attended the meeting.
