Azad prays for the welfare of people at holy shrine of Hzt Sultan-ul-Arifeen Mukhdoom Sahab

SRINAGAR, November 05 – Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today paid obeisance at Holy Shrine of Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen Makhdoom Sahib while ascending the historical long stretch of stairs of Holy Shrine. Hundreds of people joined this.
The Chief Minister along with people and devotees present in the shrine entered inside the Holy Room where Rozul Sharief of Holy Shrineis situated. The Imam and Sajadulnisheen of Holy Shrine honored the Chief Minister and prayed for his welfare.
The Chief Minister inside Holy Shrine prayed for peace and prosperity of the State, particularly for Kashmir, which has passed through dark tunnel of disturbance and disaster during last 17 years. He prayed in the Shrine of Hazrat Sultan that God should now help people of Kashmir to come out of turmoil and violence forever so that people who have suffered much are able to take sign of relief.
The Sajadulnisheen and Majawarz along with large number devotees, who assembled on the occasion also prayed for success of Mr. Azad who has kept no stone unturned during last one year to ushering the state for peace and prosperity. He was blessed through joint prayers for his sincere efforts and endeavor which he is taking for the welfare of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister also gave on-spot instructions for completion of prayer hall, which is under construction near the shrine and its proper furnishings by the Waqaf Board. He also directed the Div Comm and DC, Sgr to ensure regular power and electricity supply to the shrine.
