Veterinary doctors demand filling up of vacant posts

JAMMU, Dec 7: A delegation of J&K Veterinary Doctors Association (JKVDA) met Director, Sheep Husbandry Jammu to express serious concern over the delay in fulfilling their long pending genuine demands.
Led by their president Dr MT Krishan, the delegation members pleaded for filling all the vacant posts of different cadres, transfer of officers from farms and remote areas overstaying for more than 3 years, constitution of veterinary council, director allotment of funds to DDOs, inclusion of BVO in Recruitment rules, clubbing of levels of deputy directors in one cadre, and creation of VAS posts in every uncovered panchayats.
Director, sheep husbandry Jammu gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation for early redressal of genuine demands.
The members in the delegation included Dr. RK Anand general secretary, Dr CK Bakshi publicity secretary, Dr Mohammad Sajjad treasurer, Dr Majid Iqbal Malik and Dr Mohd. Raza.
