| Display Your Talent Semi Classical Vocal Contest held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 7: Semi Classical Vocal Contest held on the sixth day of Display Your Talent’s second phase being conducted by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Mudteshi form Govt. Women College, Prade was adjudged as the First in the said event whereas Nidhi Khala from the Department of Law, University of Jammu and Indu Balla Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu, bagged the Second and Third Prize respectively.
The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Rashmi Pandita from Institute of Music And Fine Arts, Mandeep Kour form Atma College of Education and Bandana Kalotraq form Govt. Women College, Gandhi Nagar.
Prof. Kulldeep K Sharma, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on this occasion and distributed the prizes among the winners.
The welcome address and Vote of thanks was presented by Vinay Thusoo, Public Relations Officer.
The proceeding was conducted by Madhavi Sharma, Cultural Secretary, Department of English University of Jammu and she also apprised the participants about the Rules and Regulations.
Among others Prof N K Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, Dr Shakilendra Singh, Associate Dean (SW), Vijay Atri, Gahandeep Sharma, Secretary, Students Cultural Council, Teacher In charges from the various College were also present on this occasion.
