| Romeo force organizes medical camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Poonch , Dec 8: A Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of sector Rashtriya Rifles and Rome Force organised a medical camp at village Fatehpur of Poonch district under Operation Sadbhavna.
Aim of this camp was to provide medical assistance including free medicines to the needy locals staying in remote areas.
Several army doctors and their civilian counterparts including specialists and dentists participated in the camp. The medical camp saw provisioning of quality medical care at the door steps of villages who otherwise face a lot of problems in getting such ailments attended to, in normal course.
Rashtriya Rifles troops had given adequate publicity prior to holding of this camp in the area so that maximum people could benefit from the medical facilities.
The medical camp was inaugurated by commander Sector Rashtriya Rifles in the presence of a large number of civilians.
This noble gesture by the soldiers has been appreciated by the local populace and generated goodwill in the area.
