JAMMU, Dec 9: Second Phase of “Display Your Talent” 2010-11 concluded with “On the Spot Photography Competition” organized by department of student’s welfare in the botanical garden of the University of Jammu.
Vaibhav Sharma from the Department of Law, University of Jammu bagged the First Prize whereas Ekta Choudhary from Govt. Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was adjudged as Second. Third Prize was shared by Vishanu Ojha from R.M. College of Mgt. & I.T, Sainik Colony, Jammu and Sahil Kumar from Govt. M.A.M. College (Morning), Jammu.
Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Afzal Shah and Yogesh Manhas were the adjudicators for the said event. 14 participants from University of Jammu and its affiliated colleges which included Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Jammu, Department of Computer Science & I,T, University of Jammu, Department of Geology and Govt. Women College (GWC) Parade participated in today’s event.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Vijay Atri, Vinay Thusoo, Public Relations Officer, Gagandeep Sharma, Secretary Students Cultural Council, Gurpal Singh, Kulbushan Thakur, Balwant Singh Slathia and S. S. Bhalla.
Dean Students Welfare Prof. N.K Tripathi on behalf of the University took this as an opportunity to thank Print and electronic media for their support in our endeavor to promote Art and Culture.
