JKNPP expressed condolence to the grief striken families | Ramnagar road accident | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 10: General Secretary and Spokesman of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party Hari Chand Jalmeria has expressed shock over the road accident at Ramnagar in which five persons died and 23 others were injured seriously. This mishap happened with the people who were going to attend a marriage party. On behalf of the JKNPP, Jalmeria conveyed condolence to the families of those who died and sympathy with those who are injured. He expressed concern over repetition of such road accidents in the state and asked the authorities to ensure that those responsible for ensuring road safety do their duty. He asked for five lakh compensation in cases of death and two lakhs to those injured. Jalmeria further condemned the murderous attack on Chanchlo Devi and Kali Dass Sharma of Aglidhar of tehsil Billawar where fire arms and sharp edged weapons were used resulting into serious injuries to these persons. On his visit to hospital, the victims told Jalmeria that the Police of Billawar Police Station did not arrest the attackers as they were related to the Local MLA who is also a Minister. Jalmeria strongly criticized the role of the Minister in shielding the criminals and asked the Police to immediately arrest them. Speaking on behalf of the JKNPP, Jalmeria has asked the Chief Minister to ensure that the Minister does not create terrorism in Billawar by using the goons and preventing the Police to act against them.
