Human Rights Day celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 10: J & K Human Rights Watch & Jammu Youth Welfare Action committee under the chairmanship of B.L.Kapoor celebrated the Human Rights Day today at State Head Quarter JKHRW, Janipur, Jammu. The activists and prominent people gathered & threw light on the occasion. B.L. Kapoor, who is state chairman of J & K Human Rights (JKHRW) & provincial Jammu Youth Welfare Action Committee (JYWAC) while addressing said that the Human Rights Day has much importance in the democratic setup & no country can be run without human rights. Kapoor further said that our state of Jammu & Kashmir has been facing much hardships due to continuously militancy & rampant corruption going on in the state for the last years together even then our state of Jammu & Kashmir is on the progressive line as the corruption & the militancy activities have been declined by the sincere efforts of the present Government under the dynamic leadership of coalition government. Kapoor appealed the people to watch & have knowledge about their rights so that the main power which is called biggest weapon to crush the violation & injustice meted out corrupt element & vested interest person that is called Human Rights but it is necessary to know about the rights so that the challenges & difficulties & similar types of action could be faced. Other prominent who spoke on the occasion were Amit Kapoor, Poonam Gupta, Viney Gupta, Sarika Bhasin, Deepak Kapoor, S. Surinder Singh, Mohd. Ramzan, Nazir Ahmed and Vikas Sharma.
