Awareness-cum-debate competition in police station

KATRA, Dec 10: An awareness-cum-debate function was today organised in the premises of Katra police station to celebrate world human rights day.
Various students of different schools took part in the debate competition and threw light on the human rights violations in different ways. DIG Udhampu-Reasi range Gulzar Singh Salathia said that police is the protector of human rights and does not indulge in violations as usually we are put to blame. Chief guest Sub-judge katra Kamlesh pandita emphasized that ignorance, personal interest, corruption could be the breeder of human rights violations.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Sardari lal dubey, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Rakesh wazir and Kuldeep dubey.
