‘Give reasons for withholding advertisements to ET’ | | | ET REPORT Kathua, Dec 10: The National Panther Party unit district Kathua condemned the state coalition government's stand to withhold government advertisements to Early Times daily English news paper. He was addressing a press conference here today. The district president of NPP Ravinder Singh Pathania severely criticized the "anti democratic measure to harass and threaten the Early Times news paper." He said that the coalition government led by Omar Abdulla should give reasons for stopping advertisements to Early Times. "There is no doubt that early times news paper is doing wonderful role to spread the awareness among the masses about the real existing face of the rulers of the state", he said. Early Times, it seems, has been giving sleepless nights to the coalition government. The evil intentions of the government stand exposed by withholding advertisement to Early Times, he said. "It is the right time for every person of the state to understand the real cruel face of the state coalition government which is all out to muzzle Early Times", he said. He said action against Early Times had been taken because it represents the aspirations of Jammu region. In the press conference the district president of Back ward Classes of NPP Sh Davinder Chalotra, Pankaj, and etc were present. |
