| `Mess’ at TT Hall on day-one of competitions | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, December 11: After a well managed inauguration yesterday, the day-one of the competitions in cadet and sub-junior events turned out to be a messy affair at the Table Tennis Hall of the Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
There was hardly anybody from the organizers, J&K Table Tennis Association, to tell the participants to behave during matches. The gathering of parents, the participants and their supporters was scattered all round the otherwise well furnished hall.
The cry of the young boys and girls was so loud that one cannot hear the score from the `players-cum-officials’ what to talk of the call for the matches. Two-member team present in the hall to conduct the matches looked helpless as the crowd of over 100 participants was beyond their control.
Meanwhile, first and second round matches were played in two age groups of cadet and sub-junior boys and girls.
