| Scientific need for reorganization of J&K: Bhim singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 11The Panthers chief Bhim Singh advocates for reorganization of J&K and other sectors like Bodoland, Telangana, Gorkhaland
Addressing an assembly of the tepresentatives of several proposed states like Telangana, Bodoland, Gorkhaland, Harit Pradesh and others, Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party today demanded the reorganization of the entire country to determine the new states on
the basis of cultural, historical, geographical and linguistic identity of each region.
He said J&K stands on the top of the board in this category because J&K only state whose formation was totally heterogeneous and unnatural.
He said Maharaja Gulab Singh created the state in 1846 when the political situation was totally different from today.
He said that Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu have three distinct cultural, linguistic and geographical identities and there is a scientific need for reorganization of J&K for the welfare, development and political equity of the people of each region.
Bhim Singh urged the Prime Minister to constitute a new committee for reconsideration of the demands of different regional identities for statehood which will strengthen bonds of National
Integration and ensure development of each neglected area. The representatives of several statehood groups participated. The meeting was presided over by R.K. Tomar where Panthers Party supremo was the chief guest.
