| Army flags off educational tour at Surankote | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 11: Army flagged off a 10-day sadbhavna educational tour
of 23 students at Surankote in Poonch Friday.
Organised by 25 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), it was flagged off by 6
sector commander, Brigadier Ajay Seth from the army goodwill school
at Potha, Surankote, in the presence of prominent persons of the
area.
The students, drawn from the far-flung and under-developed pockets
of Surankote, would visit Jaipur, Delhi and Agra.
Speaking on the ocasion, Brig Potha said the idea behind organising
the educational tour was to apprise the students of the outside
progressive world.
The tour was sure to inspire them to progress in their lives and go
for higher studies, he added.
25 RR CO, Col C A Antony was also present on the occasion.
