| Traders penalized for faking products | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: A Quality Control Team headed by Deputy Director Quality Control, Handicrafts, J&K conducted an inspection of Handicraft dealers in Raghunath Bazar Jammu here today under the purview of Tourist Trade Act 1978/Quality Control Act, whereby inter-alia fake Labeling and non-registration was keenly scrutinized.
A penalty of Rs. 9200 was imposed on the erring dealers on the spot. Furthermore, traders were cautioned not to indulge in such malpractice in future.
