| Harsh exhorts teaching community to provide quality education | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramnagar Harshdev Singh exhorted upon the teaching community to provide quality education to the students based on moral value enabling them to compete at various levels in this age of competition.
Singh was the Chief guest at annual day function of Government Higher Secondary School, Chowki Jandrore in Ramnagar Tehsil of district Udhampur here today. MLA complimented the school management for organizing the annual function in a colourful manner. He said that such occasions give an opportunity to staff and students to introspect into their achievements and plan steps required to improve the academic and co-curricular activities of the institution.
On the occasion, Singh announced R.15 lakhs for Science laboratory, Rs. 2 lakh for construction of stair of the school building. He also announced Rs. 1 lakh for the construction of playground of Government Middle School (GMS) Beernu. Responding to demands put forth by people of the areas which include regular power supply, shortage of staff in various educational institution in Ramnagar areas, Medical Sub Centre at Chowki, smooth functioning of Chowki to Katwalat road for vehicular traffic and tractor road from Chowki to Lanka, Singh assured that their genuine demands would be projected to the concerned departments for early redressal
