| 2 black marketeers held with 55 LPG cylinders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 11: Two alleged black marketeers were arrested by district special branch sleuths along with 55 LPG cylinders meant for general public here today.
On a tip-off, the sleuths laid a trap near Shakuntala theatre and intercepted two vehicles carrying 55 LPG cylinders. The cylinders, which were meant for public consumption, were being taken for commercial use, police sources said.
Two persons were arrested in this connection. Sources identified them as Pitambar Lal, son of Makhan Lal of Chatha, and Yashpal, son of Bagh Mal of R S Pura.
The sleuths later handed them over to Pucca Danga police station where a case was registered against them.
