| Physiotherapy docs’ dharna enters 20th day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 12: The day & night dharna of agitating physiotherapy doctors entered 20th day today.Large gathering of physiotherapy doctors as well as physiotherapy students joined the sitting overnight in front of Old Divisional Commissioner office, Mubarak Mandi.They raised the slogans of their demands of jobs, state council, re-opening of college & opening physiotherapy units at each PHC level. Abdul Rehem Tukru (ex MLC & sr. leader communist party) and comrade Kamal Dev (state sect CPI) visited the dharna site.They addressed the physiotherapy doctors and told them that their party is whole-heartedly with them. They even handed over the copy of a letter from A. B. Bandhan (geny sect CPI) written to Omar Abdullah advocating for the genuine demands of physiotherapy doctors. They added that they will participate in the agitation fully to each level. Later on JPPF called the leader of the agitating doctors to their meeting and discussed the whole matter in detail. All the members of JPPF extended their full support to the ongoing agitation. They said that all the general public is with them. They warned the State Govt. that they will launch a mass movement with the help of around 44 organizations in the Govt. will be in real difficulty. The JKPA re-affirmed their resolve to resort to any limit if till Monday the issue is not resolved. They said that the irregular statements of government would soon become a mass issue of all unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
