Divya Channel to provide platform for budding artists of Jammu

Jammu, Dec 12: Divya Channel was launched today with an aim to strengthen religion and Indian cultural heritage. Ranjot Singh, chief marketing head from Divya Channel, New Delhi was the chief guest. In his enlightening and thought provoking address he said that no doubt, the west has a lot of contribution in the field of science and technology but so far as the values, ethics and morality is concerned the India is known to be the teacher of the whole world which spread the message of brother hood, non-violence and peace for the prosperity of humanity.He further said in view of the present scenario when there is violence, western interest for the petty things to collect the material, which is not the ultimate aim of the man. The man should above all these things and work for the progress and prosperity of the nation besides, one also needs to fight these anti forces.Lata Pardesi, a well known singer also addressed the gathering. She said that the Jammu is a land which has a religious and spiritual vibration around all the religions which shows us the path of peace, brotherhood, live and let live others as well.She also stressed in the "unity" as a weapon and aid we can project our problems to the state and central govt, in democratic way.She further said all the important and burning issues and problems will remain unsolved until we propagate religion and culture in wider perspectives.Vaishno Rani, district representative officer, Divya Channel, Branch, Jammu also spoke on the occasion and appeal to the gathering for its larger participation in order to promote the agenda of the Divya Channel.
