JAMMU, December 12: Animesh today made it to the semi-finals of the sub-junior boys singles outplaying Amritya 2-1 in the first quarterfinal played today in the ongoing State Open Table Tennis Championship at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Young Animesh lost the opening set 5-11, but only to win the following two 11-6, 11-7 to reach the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, in other age groups, first and second round competitions took place on the second day of the championship today.
