| SHEER releases New year greeting brochure | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Dec 12 Society Health Environment Education Research [SHEER], devoted to holistic Health Care and Counselling for the service of humanity, organized a simple but an impressive function at Press Club here today.
The aim was to release SHEER “New Year Greeting Brochure” with its vision-mission carrying resolutions on Health –Survival-Heritage that further have been categorized as Social Health, Environment Health, Constitutional Health and Freedom form Enemies of Humanity.
The SHEER is headed by Dr. Kuldeep Singh, a social activist and presently working as Associate Professor in Botany Department of GGM Science College. The function was presided over by senior journalist Sohail Kazmi, Editor of a local daily Rattan Singh Gill as guest of honour. They released the New Year Brochure in the select gathering of cross section of society comprising NSS Volunteers, public spirited intellectuals social activists etc.
At the outset Amrita Singh, MBBS students, GMC welcomed the gathering in an unusual manner by exhorting upon young aspirants to celebrate New Year not by holding modern rave parties but strictly promoting Indian Traditional Values and Culture which are supreme in themselves around the world. She was followed by another MBBS student GMC Jammu Mohit Singh who in brief spelled out the profile of Society “SHEER” reflecting the milestone in its onward journey since the year 1997 till today when the latest book titled “Message to Youth “2010, 440 pages published by Yak Book Channel is yet to see the light of the day very shortly. She further informed that mostly the topics included in the book are the contents of this brochure.
President SHEER Dr Kuldeep Singh in his speech referred that the resolutions in the brochure are meant to ignite the young minds on the philosophy of great leaders the Gandhi-Ambedkar-Kalam and also invite their active participation with the resolves promoting J&K First and Healthy Heritage. Not satisfied only with this release, Dr. Singh further stressed to share these resolutions selflessly among masses following the Mantra of “harma-Karma” advocated by great saints and seers with the sole aim to reverse the harms inflicted to “Holistec Health Security”
Gill in his thought provoking address congratulated the whole team members associated with bringing out this unique brochure that shall definitely prove a trend setter in J&K and beyond. |
