Batote police foiled an attempt to smuggle bovine animals to Srinagar and arrested the driver in this connection.
As per reports bovines were being smuggled in a truck registered under No.JK02A-0797. When the police intercepted the vehicle found animals inside. The driver of the truck Pritam Singh S/o Suram Singh residents of Sangar, tehsil Reasi was taken into custody and seized the animals. Police is investigating the matter.
