| Joorel elected executive member of ISPS | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 12: Head of the Department of Statistics in the University of Jammu Prof J P Singh Joorel has been unanimously elected as executive member of Indian society for probability and statistics in its annual general meeting held on December, 9, 2010.
This Society is one of the oldest professional societies of statistics in India. The objectives of the society are to provide a forum for discussion on all matters concerning the development and applications of statistics and probability in all fields of human endeavour.
