| Amar Jawan Jyoti soon at police memorial: DGP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, December 12, All arrangements have been made to erect Amar Jawan Jyoti at the majestic police memorial outside the railway station here, according to DGP Kuldeep Khoda.
The memorial was built in the memory of police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, combating threat of militancy. The DGP said the project had already received final nod from the highest level and in a month or so, Amar Jawan Jytoi would be installed at the memorial site.
The police department also planned to renovate the memorial as pillars were losing marble tiles due tp poor quality of material used in the earlier construction work.
