| CB presents challan against accused for providing fake appointment order | | |
JAMMU NOV-05 Crime Branch Jammu has produced challan against Devinder Singh son of Kuldeep Singh resident of Simbliwala Tehsil Akhnoor in case FIR NO 12/2005 under section 420/467/468/481 RPC in the court of law for providing a fake appointment order on money consideration.
Giving facts of the case, the Senior Superintendent of Police Crime and Railways Sunil Sharma said that Chain Singh son of Raghunath Singh resident of Garkhal Tehsil Akhnoor lodged a written complaint with Crime Branch Jammu stating therein that said Davinder Singh provided appointment order as Constable in Police Department to the Chain Singh, the complainant in consideration against Rs.40, 000. The appointment order provided to the complainant was fake, forged and fraudulent.
On this, the instant case was registered in the Crime Branch and got investigated through a special team of officers and after making concrete efforts and utilizing services of FSL, the case was established under the above offences against the accused Devinder Singh, who has been challaned for judicial determination, the SSP added.
