| 1 killed, 6 hurt in road mishaps | | |
JAMMU, Dec 12: A motorcyclist was killed and six others were hurt in separate road mishaps in Samba near here since last night.
Sham Singh, son of Jagdev Singh, was going home at Langath, Samba, on his motorcycle when he was hit by some unknown vehicle.He was found lying dead by the roadside by some pedestrians, who informed police.
Police sources said cops evacuated the body to the Samba district hospital where post-mortem was conducted on it this morning. Later, it was handed over to his family members for last rites.
Police had registered a case in this connection.Six commuters were injured when the minibus they were travelling in hit a shop pillar at Rakh Badoi, Bari Brahmana. They were
hospitalised.
