| Ramban people complain erratic power supply | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Dec 13: People of Ramban today vociferously complained about erratic power supply, non-payment of compensation and poor quality of work on the school buildings constructed under Sarv Shikhsha Abhiyan (SSA).
They lodged these complaints with District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban Shabir Ahmad Bhat who was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Assistant Commissioner (Development), Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Executive Engineers and other district level officers.
The team of officers toured Gool block of Ramban district and during the tour besides inspection of various ongoing works, also held a public grievances redressal meeting at Gool in which a large number of people from Gool and adjoining areas participated with collective as well as individual demands.
DDC, Ramban, directed officers present on spot to take immediate measures for redressal of genuine grievances of public and furnish action taken report to him. DDC, Ramban, during his visit to Gool block inspected Gool hospital and directed the CMO, Ramban and BMO, Gool, to ensure that all healthcare facilities are provided to ailing public in Gool and other health institutions working in Gool block.
