| J&K is an integral part of India: Chaman | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Dec 13: The leader of the BJP legislators party, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta today termed it as most unfortunate that certain New Delhi leaders with little knowledge who even does not know about the geography of this state were overacting as Kashmir experts,
Commenting upon the statements to union home minister P. Chidambram and that of some others that Kashmir is a political problem and its contours would emerge in the near future, Prof Gupta said basically such problems are the results of confusion , adding J&K is an integral part of India and its future is not negotiable.
The main problem is the failure of the dispensation to implement the law of the land and act under the oath of the constitution of which they are the product, he added.
Addressing a meeting of the party activists of his constitiuency, the Jammu West of Sarwal area, Prof. Gupta pointed out that Kashmir valley is just one-tenth (1/10) in geographical area of the state and also its whole population is less than half of the entire state, Moreover, the entire Kashmiris including over five lakh Pandits and others are not separatists but the Congress leadership had never taken into account the ground realities. These leaders rather patronized such separatists and semi- separatists instead of strengthening the pro-India forces and ensuring even due share for them in the basics of political power, the BJP leader alleged.
The meeting was convened in connection with the preparations for Maha rally to be held on December 24.
Anil Gupta, Surinder Sharma, Parmodh Kapahi, Kalvinder Gupta, Rajesh Gupta and others were also present in the meeting.
