| ICC founder members hold meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 13: A meeting of founder members of International Cricket Club (ICC) was held at Press Club .
The members expressed serious concern over the functioning of the club which in the past has not been found desirable. The members discussed thread bare the ways and means to revive the club to its past glory. It was impressed upon the members who had assumed into themselves the steward ship of the club to also attend this meeting and give their valuable opinions. However for the reasons best known to them they failed to attend this meet. The members expressed serious concern about the affairs and non-functioning of the club in domestic cricket with the result that all major cricketing events have gone unrepresented by the club. It is matter of grave concern that the club for every intent and purpose has been reduced to its existence only for cosmetic purpose to maintain its affiliation with JKCA and the members would expect the JKCA to take note of this dismal position attained by the club. The members further resolved that an effort shall be made to apprise JKCA in person regarding the present state of affairs of the club.
