JKGEJAC discuss employees problems

JAMMU, Dec 13: A meeting of the leaders of the various employees organizations under the banner of J&K Govt. Employees Joint Action Committee was held here today. The meeting discussed the burning issues of the Employees which were agreed in principle during the employees last struggle.
In the meeting, the representatives discussed the employees pending issues in threadbare. The EJAC has totally rejected the road map of the State Govt. regarding disbursement of the arrears of the 6th pay commission and demanded release of the arrears in two equal statements in one year at 10% DA from July 2010 and settlement of other pending issues as per the commitment made with the employees leadership earlier.
The EJAC has alleged that the State Govt. had done nothing in connection to withdraw the framed police cases against the senior leaders of the EJAC which were made during past struggle and has stressed the Govt. again to withdraw these cases as per their own commitment.
The EJAC has decided that if the anti-employees stance of the State Govt. adopted towards the serving employees and the pensioners remain uncharged. The EJAC will adopt the agitational path in future and the State Govt. will be held responsible for the consequence. The EJAC has decided also to approach all the Jammu based pro-employees association/Unions for framing strategy of joint struggle to fight against the nefarious designs of the autocratic rulers of the State.
The prominent representation of the Unions/ Association were who have attended the meeting are Subash Verma, Sushil Sudhan, Pardeep Kumar, Parshotam Singh Chib, Prem Singh Baba, Mangat Ram Paihar, Mohd. Farook, Suman Sharma, Sanjay Abrol, Master Maheshwar Parsad, Bishan Verma, Parshotam Shar a, Jarnail Khokher, Vinod Kumar, Puran Chand, Raman Kumar, Kartar Chand Dubey, S. Amrik Singh, Baldev Singh, S. Swarn Singh and Manzoor Ali etc.
