Mini-buses carrying Jhiri pilgrims exempted from Bandh call

JAMMU NOV-05-Keeping in view the on-going Jhiri Mela, the Refugees United Front has exempted Mini buses, carrying pilgrims to Jhiri, from the purview of the Bandh call given for tomorrow in support of the demands of PoK and West Pakistani refugees.
In a statement the President of the Front Rajeev Chuni claimed that majority of the political, social, trade union and transport organizations have extended their full support to the bandh call.
He said that a peaceful protest march would be organized at Press Club in the morning and will march through the major markets of the city.
In the meantime Shiv Sena Hindustan and Sant Mela Singh Technical Ashram Digiana have also extended their support for tomorrow’s Bandh call.
