Young Panthers express solidarity with Talwara striking migrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 14: Young Panthers delegation on a weeklong tour of Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch districts met Talwara migrants sitting on hunger strike in front of Deputy Commissioner office Reasi and expressed solidarity of the party. Addressing Talwara migrants Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah MLC accused NC-Congress government for discriminating with Jammu migrants, thus violating the order of the Supreme Court to provide the relief at par with the Kashmiri migrants. Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah demanded release of relief to the Jammu migrants camping in Talwara and other places as per direction of the Supreme Court and High Court. He also conveyed to the party chairman, Bhim Singh that Talwara migrant have been sitting on hunger strike and authorities have not cared at all. In the meantime Talwara migrants’ contempt petition was mentioned last week by Bhim Singh and H.C. Jhalmeria advocate before the High Court. High Court had directed to list the case immediately so that appropriate action is taken against the Relief Commissioner and other officials responsible to defy the order of the Court. Vice-president Pushpinder Singh Manhas, Balvinder Singh provincial secretary young panthers and others accompanied Rafiq on tour.
