SRTC employees decry reluctance of J&K govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 14: All Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation Volunteer Retirement Employees Association has decried reluctance of the government for not clearing their dues since long. Addressing media persons here today, President of association Dev Raj Bali strongly criticized policies of SRTC management for not clearing their dues and adopting linger on policy. He informed that Jammu and Kashmir SRTC department has already taken funds to the tune of Rs. 32 crore for clearing their dues but it is unfortunate that concerning department is adopting delaying polices in releasing the same. Bali appealed Transport Minister Qamar Ali Akhnoor and MoS Transport Shabir Ahmed Dar to put their demands in the board meeting which is going to be held within few days. SRTC VRS employees demanded CP Fund interest since 1999-2010, cost of living allowance (COLA), arrears since 2006-2010 and implementation of the 6th pay commission. Among others who were present included Surinder Singh, Balwinder Singh, B.C.Sharma, D N Sharma, Prem Nath, rajinder Singh, Sat Pal and others.
