Residents allege slow pace of work on Dhar road | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: The slow pace of work to widen the Dhar road from Domail to Slathia Chowk has irked the local residents of the area. Local resident has alleged that district administration and BEACON authorities have failed to speed up the road widening work, which is going on for the last four months. Sat Paul Sharma, a local resident, alleged that due to delay in its completion local residents living and running business on both sides of road facing lot of hardship and their business is facing great loss . He added that the stretch less than half kilometer between Slathia chowk to Domail Chowk has been the worst affected. He added that vehicles broke down due to bad condition of road and during peak hours the vehicles could be seen moving on snail’s pace dut to frequent jams. Sachin , a resident of Indra Nager , alleged that BEACON and district administration are responsible for the present condition of Dhar road. He added that tall claim of administration on the name of development seems exposed on ground as he alleged non coordination of BSNL, PHE, PDD and BEACON are delaying the widening. The locals demanded that work should be done in double shift and completed in stipulated time period so that public can get relief otherwise they will come on road in protest.
