| Abetment to suicide case | | Court rejects bail of husband | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14 (JNF): Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu M.S.Parihar dismissed bail application filed by one Ajay Sethi s who was allegedly involved in abetment to suicide case of his wife.
CJM Jammu M.S.Parihar after hearing Adv Rohit Verma for the applicant and CPO Pawan Khajuria with PO Pankaj Sethi for the state observed that deceased got married on April 18, 2005 and gave birth to a child on May 21, 2006. Thereafter, wife of the applicant died within seven years of the marriage and there is an allegation that she committed suicide on May 22, 2010 by hanging herself with ceiling fan.
Court said that investigation of the case is at its initial stage and in case, applicant is released on bail, there is every apprehension that accused will temper with the prosecution evidence and dismissed the bail application. According to the police case, on May 24, 2010 at 2:30 PM information was received at Police Station (PS) Janipur that a lady namely Meenkashi wife of Ajay Sethi died under suspicious circumstances. According to the police report, investigation of the case is at its initial stage. The statements of the witnesses’ u/s 164-A CrPC are yet to be recorded. So according the case and the report submitted by the police in this bail application, the allegations against the applicant/accused are that he has abetted the commission of offences u/s 302/201/511 RPC.
