Govt resorting to cheap tactics: Mansoor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir government should shun abhorrence and allow media especially Early Times newspaper to work independently. This was stated by senior leader of People Democratic Party (PDP) and MLA Shangus Peerzada Mansoor Hussain. He added that Early Times newspaper is being victimized for speaking truth and reporting facts. "It is the frustration of National Conference-led government which gets reflected by this attitude of the Jammu and Kashmir government. They have lost significance among the people and are now resorting to cheap tactics of harassment and intimidation," added Mansoor. He maintained that Early Times newspaper has effectively managed to carve significant space for itself among the people of Jammu. "It is in real sense one of the largest read dailies of Jammu and Kashmir. Its presence has ensured that government red-tape does not go unnoticed and is reported properly," Mansoor said in his statement. |
