Jammu shuttler Vikram wins in India Open Badminton | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 15: J&K state champion, Vikram Saini has won his first round tie against his Bangladeshi opponent to move into the next round of ongoing India Open Badminton Championship at Hyderabad. According to the reports reaching here, Vikram trounced his opponent 2-1. Losing first set 15-21, Vikram won the following two 21-18, 21-18 to win the match and reach last 32 stages. Now, Vikram shall take on Gopichand Academy’s K Shrikant of India. However, his younger brother and State No. two, Vipul Saini has lost to Ali Shah Hosseini 2-1. Winning the first game, Vipul committed some unforced error lost the match 11-08, 12-21, 15-21. Hosseini, who belongs to Iran, holds world No. 102 ranking
